UM2 Cura 15.04.4 quickprint profiles broken?

I have a very weird problem with the Cura quick profiles. I don't use them much but I just switched to the "normal" profile and back to full settings. Cura asks if I want the profile settings to be copied.

I hit "yes" and then I get this:

How in the world is this correct? If this happens to others too, then it is now wonder if they get bad prints.

How do I reset _all_ Cura settings? I have looked in the following locations and found nothing:

(Mac OSX 10.10.5 Yosemite):

  • ~/.cura (here are the settings from the new Cura 15.x)
  • ~/Library/Application Support/
  • ~/Library/Preferences/

There is no Cura directory there. Inside Cura itself there are some quick profiles but these are distributed with the app which means they are broken by default. However the "normal" profile there one contains only this (/Applications/Cura/Cura.app/Contents/Resources/quickprint/profiles/2_normal.ini):

[info]name = Normal print[profile]layer_height = 0.1infill_speed = 80solidarea_speed = 15inset0_speed = 30insetx_speed = 60

Infill speed is way too high btw.

Maybe I don't understand how it works, but the other profiles in the "ultimaker2+" directory are weird too. The PLA normal one contains somewhere "nozzle size = 0.35" and "nozzle size = 0.4".

I know Cura 14.x will be phased out at some point, but the vast majority of users do use it right now. It would be a good idea to show it some more love and avoid such obvious errors (if these really are errors at all).
