USB connection trouble

Hello

I would like to share a trouble that I got with my UMO+.

From few weeks, I can't connect the UMO+ on my computer through the USB cable (SD card works perfectly). I get "Unknown USB device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)" on Device Manager under USB controllers.

This problem appears few days after to install a USB 3.0 hub on my computer and connect the printer through this hub. But now the problem appears on all USB ports

My computer runs with Win 8.1

UMO+ works with CURA 15.04

Also I use Arduino 1.6.8 software for an Arduino UNO card

I already try to:

- Reinstall CURA and Arduino (old and new version)

- Try to connect UMO+ with MatterControl 1.5

- Desinstall Device in the Device Manager and restart computer to reinstall the device

- Try to install drivers manually

- Install CURA on an another computer which use Win XP

- Change USB Cable

Unfortunately nothing works

Have you any suggestion to solve this problem ?

Thank you very much

Sébastien

I wonder if installing the new USB somehow installed some new drivers that are getting in the way. Maybe you can try finding the USB hub in the device manager and uninstalling it. Then you can see if the remaining USB ports start working again
