NinjaFlex

I'm new to 3D printing but I'd like to add some NinjaFlex to my inventory. I have the Ultimaker 2+ which says it takes 2.85 mm diameter filament but the NinjaFlex only comes in 1.75 and 3 mm. I'm assuming the 3 mm is the one I would need but just wanted to check with some more experienced people before I purchase.

Usually most of 3mm filaments are really 2.85mm, i think ninja flex is 2.85mm

But be warned that ninja flex is really difficult to print without tuning the printer and tweaking a lot. I prefer to use semiflex on the UM2 it's much easier to print (but also less flexible)
