How do I set up a printer, not on the lists, in Cura 2.1.2

I just downloaded Cura 2.1.2 after just starting to get used to 15.04.5, and I can't find a way to setup custom printer like there was in 15.04.5. What am I missing?

Hi and welcome,

For the moment it's not as easy as before to add custom printers. The team is first focusing on the Ultimaker printers.

Just a minor change to @DidierKlein's post; We won't add non-um printers. Those are added by other companies / members of the comunity.

First, Thanks for the reply.

Second, I found some info regarding the .json file, and attempted editing one last night, but it doesn't show up in the list to select, after a reboot. I used the dual_extrusion_printer.json as a basefile, and edited it in notepad. Certainly not as easy a layout as is described. Any assistance in making this any easier? I'm more than willing to hack away at this...

I have a 3DPrinterworks Creatorbot 3D Pro SII printer.

Dual extrusion is far from perfect. It's hardly tested, so I wouldn't recommend using that in your first attemt to add a machine.
