Hello,

I have a Prusa i3 Hephestos with a heating plate that works perfectly with Cura 15.04. I found how to add the heating bed in printer parameters.

In Cura 2.1.2, I didn't found where I can add this setting.

How can I do this ?

Thanks

    On Debain Jessie, I found that in

    /opt/cura/share/cura/resources/machines/bq_hephestos.json

    there is a parameter :

    "machine_heated_bed": {           "default": true

    . But is it a good idea to modify this file ?

    Its best to make a copy of the file, rename it, give it a new "id" and "name", perhaps even "manufacturer". Then make you mods and copy it back into the machines folder.

    When you restart Cura, you'll see it in the "Add Printer" dialog.

    Then when you download a Cura software update, you don't loose your changes.
