Firmaware adaptation for new hotend

Hi there, i am modifing my UM2 original, and building a new, somewhat longer hotend.

Does anyone know what setting in the firmwate you need to edit, to alter the bed leveling interface.

If i start bed leveling now, my bed will smash into my new, longer hotend....

it should be sufficient to reduce the Z_MAX_POS in Configuration.h
