Cura 2.4 Windows laptop vs Macbook

I am running Cura 2.4 with my new Ultimaker 3. So far this has been a good experience with a few minor issues (connectivity).

Anyways, I have a 12" MacBook that runs Cura just fine, and it allows me to use the trackpad to navigate the model displayed flawlessly. I can rotate the view, zoom, select, and drag... All the usual things needed.

So recently I purchased the SurfaceBook from Microsoft running windows 10. I loaded cura on it and found that I can only use the trackpad to zoom. There seems to be no way to rotate! What am I missing here? Certainly the Cura team doesn't expect that we always have a mouse attached on a windows laptop and not on a MacBook....
