Cura 2.4 bug - standard profile overriding machine settings for HBP

Recommended Posts

so i was doing some printing on one of our printers that hasnt been used since cura 2.4 came out, on 2.3 it was fine but is now encountering issues with 2.4

one of which is that when using one of the 3 standard profiles, it sets a buildplate tempurature of 60 degrees even though the heated buildplate option is turned off in the machine settings. so even though the option to set a buildplate temp doesnt exist in the options, it still sets it to 60 degrees in the gcode, which causes a heater error.
