Hello there,

After having changed from Slic3r to the latest version oft Cura I got a problem Witz the bottom layers.

Just to clear things up, I have already correctly set upthe distance between heat bed and nozzle so I guess the problem must be a software issue

So once i start a new print the nozzle doesnt move upwards the z axis while printing the first 20-40 layers. Therefore it stays at the same height and is just glanzing around.

And then suddenly after having finished the first 20-40 layers it starts to works properly, move upwards and just work fine.

Anyone got an idea of how to fix this?

Thanks in advance

    Hi and welcome,

What printer are you using? Maybe a problem with the machine settings ?

    Thanks for your quick answer.

I am using the Geeetech i3 pro b.

Which settings do you think could be the reason? I just want to mention that using Slic3r i didnt have this problem.
