Hello.

I am using Cura now since 3 years and everything was fine, Till the Day I decided to print with a 1mm nozzle.

The change to the nozzle was fine too, but now one very usefull feature of Cura is making problems.

Cura creates on all regions with a inner or outer overhang with a specific angle additionaly support material on the immer side, not to get confused with the regular support structure, no I mean the material that will he printed additionaly to the perimeters, e.g if I print 3mm it prints 3 perimeters, but if this is an area with overhang it adds extra support material.

This was fine with a smaller nozzle, now with a 1mm nozzle the outer regions of the overhang starts warping, due to the additional material that Cura adds to the shell.

How Can I get rid off this Cura function, there is no setting anywhere in Cura to switch this off.

Best regards, Elysio.

If the idea is to do a 1mm wall with no infill you can try spiralize maybe?

    Hi Didier.

Thank you, I will give it a try, but the wall has to be massive.

You know due to structural purpose.

But this could be a workaround too.
