Which gcode flavor does the ultimaker original use?

I recently got the ultimaker original from a friend (to try before buying my own 3d printer). I know there is a cura version for the ultimaker but I want to use slic3r.

Now my problem is that I don't know which gcode flavor I should choose. I tried makerbot and then it completely retracted my filament and circled around above the printplate, not the desired effect.

I saw some fixes (I think) on internet but I'm not that 3d printing tech savvy and had no idea what that meant and didn't want wrong gcode to ruin my printer.

Could anyone help me with this? Thanks in advance
