Printing from USB on a UM3, fails

Hello

I am having problems with printing from the USB port on our new UM3.

When I try to load a gcode file, then the printer turns off the display, and returns to the main menu.    

do anyone know how i get the printer to print from the usb port?

any help is much appreciated in this matter.

You are trying to print from the usb stick on by connecting the usb to a computer?

I don't think it's recommended to print by connecting a computer.

Use the provided usb stick or print by network.

I am trying to print directly from the usb port on the UM3, using the usb stick provided with the printer.

But when i try to load the file on the printer, it fails and returns to the main menu on the printer.

I assume the file you are trying to print was sliced with Cura and for the correct printer?

No error messages?

It sounds like there may be special characters in the name of your file. If you have special characters (ü, é, for example), it will power cycle when you try to start the print.
