Connect Ultimaker 2 with raspberry directly on PCB

Posted · Connect Ultimaker 2 with raspberry directly on PCB

I'm making an Octoprint system, i want to put all the electronics inside the printer (with the pcb). My question is: Is possible to connect the raspberry directly on PCB? I can see pins on the board.

I would like to avoid passing the USB cable outside the printer.

    There are no pins on the board exposing the USB signal...

    The only thing you could do is to use the 4 test points located under the USB connector -- not sure it s good idea though...
