Cura 2.6.2 and x3g

Okay I admit it I am out of my depth.

I have a CTC that uses x3g instead of gcode.

I am told I "simply" need to use gpx. But I do not understand how to get it to work.

Has anyone written a plugin for Cura to do this?

Also could someone please explain why the designers of Cura don't implement the ability of outputting x3g? Probably way about my pay grade the answer, but I thought I would just ask.

All but a few of the Cura developers are paid by Ultimaker. Ultimaker printers don't use x3g.

If you need support for x3g, please ask the manufacturer of your printer to get involved in the development of Cura (or find a fellow community member who is capable and motivated to do it in their place)

Tldr: none of the Cura developers have a motivation to fix your problem, harsh as it might sound
