Ultimaker 3 in LAN

We are in process of installing UM3 as part of our manufacturing unit. Since we have restrictions on use of USB Drive/Datacard, we would prefer to access the printer via network (LAN)

1. What is the process to assign a static IP to the printer? When we try to connect using client(putty) it gets recognised and asks for username/password. The standard username password does not work. Is there a username password by which we can connect to the printer through LAN?

2. After connecting and execution of print, can the laptop/desktop be taken out of the network?

Thanks & Regards,

Nikhil
