Do the colors of the model in solid view mean anything like when you are in layer view?

I have a model that when loaded in Cura in solid view has various parts red while the remainder of the model is the standard yellow color.

Red means that the area's are overhangs.

Note that this overhang detection relies on proper normals on the object. Some modelers export flipped normals, which results in the overhang red being on top of the model instead of on the bottom. CuraEngine does not use the normals of the model to calculate supports, so they are nothing to worry about.

If the red bothers you, you can turn it off in the (general) preferences.
