I'm working on a project in school for my IB Diploma which requires a sort of essay on a topic which relates to mathematics. I'm having a bit of trouble phrasing this and working it out, but I want to learn and understand more about the mathematical processes and algorithms used for slicing, and determining how the 3D printer determines where to go and when to print. I've looked around a bit but I'm having some trouble understanding some of it, so is anyone especially well versed in this topic and could shed some light?
