Cura 3.1 start issue

I've installed (and re-installed) 3.1 several times.  Sometimes it starts all the way up to the interface but has a blank window overlay with the Cura in the top left and ? X in the top right.  There isn't anything inside the window.  Other times it starts and gets all the way to loading interface and then shuts down.  I've deleted the users/name/appdata/local/cura/3.1 folder and two text documents in the tree but that hasn't solved the issue.

 

I'm also running with success v15.04.6.

 

Can anyone point me to a possible solution?

Could you provide logs and did you update your graphics drivers?

I may have solved the problem.  I deleted the roaming cura folder and it loaded properly and the restarted and it still worked.  I'll keep an eye on any problems and report back.
