I just wanted to let you people know that the Humble Weekly Bundle of this week includes a 3D model that you can print. This is included with some games. (The Humble bundle is a "pay what you want" bundle of computer games)

https://www.humblebundle.com/weekly

It costs about $3 (as you need to beat the average to get the 3D model)

I haven't bought it yet, but I might do so next week. (I don't have time to print the model right now anyhow)

The parts look good but will be a tricky print. It is pre divided into sections

the body, legs, guns. piping, and connectors. The legs and body sections

will require supports, and lots of them.

Looks like a good model though. Should be a challenging print.

Hi, I've printed the model you can see on the photo at https://www.humblebundle.com/weekly

Here you can find more pictures of it (sry, but the page is in Polish)

I'm really looking forward to see how it will turn out for other people and if you have tips how to make it better.

    Best,

    Szymon

      • S-Line Firmware 8.3.0 was released Nov. 20th on the "Latest" firmware branch.
(Sorry, was out of office when this released)

        This update is for...
        All UltiMaker S series
        New features

Temperature status. During print preparation, the temperatures of the print cores and build plate will be shown on the display. This gives a better indication of the progress and remaining wait time. Save log files in paused state. It is now possible to save the printer's log files to USB if the currently active print job is paused. Previously, the Dump logs to USB option was only enabled if the printer was in idle state. Confirm print removal via Digital Factory. If the printer is connected to the Digital Factory, it is now possible to confirm the removal of a previous print job via the Digital Factory interface. This is useful in situations where the build plate is clear, but the operator forgot to select Confirm removal on the printer’s display. Visit this page for more information about this feature.
