Feature Request: Coasting Allignment

Recommended Posts

Posted · Feature Request: Coasting Allignment

I use coasting often to prevent stringing in my prints.

Oftentimes, the place where the seam is will end up lined up, as shown above, where you get 1, 2, or even more layers deep of a cut into the part. In pratice, you don't get holes as shown due to the coasting working as advertised... But I've had many prints turn out poorly due to coasting on supports or on thin structures lining up and having a weak spot.

Could something be done, like "z-seam" placement, for a "random" (really, non-stacking) gap?
