It's important that the nozzles on the cores have no plastic on the tip as that gives a leveling error.
Personally, on my UM3, I haven't done autoleveling in over a year. I prefer the manual leveling. You don't have a choice however on the S5 (current firmware version anyway).
It’s a UM3. I have a UM2+ and rarely level the bed. Guess I’ll be manually setting both when I need to. It once worked properly. Maybe the next firmware update will fix this.
