Curara 3.4.0 and repetier plugin

I have repetier host and server running and they connect fine.  I like to work in Cura more than repetier host so I got the repetier plugin and installed it in Cura 3.4.0.  It lets me configure everything but when I tell it to connect it just closed Cura.  I've uninstalled and reinstall Cura and Repetier and it still does the same.  

 

Has anyone seen this and solved it?

Probably best to log an issue with the creator of the plugin here: https://github.com/VMaxx/RepetierPlugin/issues

They'll probably need the cura log, which you can find in the folder that opens via Help -> Show configuration folder.
