Printer Listed But Cant Connect

Hi,

 

My UM3E printer is listed on Cura and is connected via an ethernet cable.

However I cannot press the connect butoon, prior to authorising the connection with the physical botton on the printer.

 

I have also tried added the printer through its IP addres, but still cannot press the greyed out connect button!

Please see attached the screenshot.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi,

 

usually this is a temporary problem. Have you tried to restart Cura and access the printer again?

If the problem persists, can you ping the printer from your PC?

Hi, Thanks for the reply.

 

I had tried restarting everything, with no luck.

I have now resolved the issue by downgrading my Cura version from 3.4.1 to 3.0.4 which is the current version working on other machines connected to the printer.

 

Fingers crossed the next update will remove this bug.

If you can reproduce the error with Cura 3.4.1, could you create an issue on Github? This would help the developers fix the bug.
