understanding cura and nozzle offsets

I have a reprap 3d printer using marlin 1.14 and a chimera hotend. I am using Cura 3.5 and having good sucess with 2 color prints.

I use a prime tower and a 15 degree standby temperature on may nozzles.

When the nozzles are swapping the hotend moves to the edge of the print and stays there until the temperatures reach the new values.

Is the distance that Cura uses for where to move off the print related to the nozzle offsets and if so what is the relationship?

I am currently having my x and y offset set to 0, leaving marlin to handle the 18.2mm offset.

Thank you
