Cura 3.6.0 - broken USB communication with Smoothie

Hi,
I just updated from 3.5.1 to 3.6.0
Cura does connect to printer but communication is now broken:
 - Extruder temp shows "0°C"
 - Jog controls are not active

 

Back to 3.5.1 for the moment  :-(

FWIW, I finally fixed USB communication by replacing
C:\Program Files\Ultimaker Cura 3.6\plugins\USBPrinting\USBPrinterOutputDevice.py
with previous version (3.5.1)

This is just a workaround...
Any comments/advice ??
