No Infill Change At Z Height

Recommended Posts

As far as I know it is not possible to change infill with this plugin, but you can use another function in Cura.

You need a second object, a cube for example and then you define this cube which overlaps your model at the parts you want to change the infill and set the needed parameters. This cube is just to change the settings and will not be printed. Like the support blocker, but can be any model you like/need.

    • "Back To The Future" using Generative Design & Investment Casting
Designing for light-weight parts is becoming more important, and I’m a firm believer in the need to produce lighter weight, less over-engineered parts for the future. This is for sustainability reasons because we need to be using less raw materials and, in things like transportation, it impacts the energy usage of the product during it’s service life.
