Hello,

I want to build my own Ultimaker. I tried to find out whats the difference between the 2 boards, but i didn't get it by just reading the raprap Wiki.

Can someone explain the difference? Will the Ultimaker Software Run with the RAMPS? Do I need to modify the Board? Will it work with an thermocouple?

Thanks for any help

Quirin

Yes and Yes. You will need to modify the pinout to suit. Apart from that, it will work just fine. If you are planinning to use the genuine Ulticontroller, you will need to make some changes to the wires here, as it's a smidgen different than the Reprap-controllers.
