Can't create a printer profile

I wanted to add a printer definition for my printer so everytime I update cura I don't have to keep copying my custom definition. So I looked at the existing definitions and copied one and modified it for my printer. I then created a model for the build plate and an extruder definition. I started up Cura and saw my printer in the list and picked it. Cura gave me an error that my definition must be corrupt. So my main question is Can I find a log to get more information about what is wrong? If not can someone look at my files and see if there is anything obvious?

"cura.log" will give you some hints. It's located in the configuration folder.

I found the log file. Thanks tinkergnome. I discovered that I was setting the version number incorrectly. It works now.
