cura not opening problem with c/progamfiles/ultimaker cura 4.1/arcus .pyd

the above is not opening,as  file is  corrupt Can any one help please

I have exactly the same problem.  Tried to run Cura 4.1 and nothing happens - try to re-install and I get error shown in attached image

This most likely is your AV blocking a file access.

Just made an account to add a possible solution to this issue since I just had it:

 

Windows may block you from installing certain things if you need to restart to install updates.  If you're running in to this and its not your AV - check to see if you're restart option is "Restart and Install Updates."
