Posted · 3DBenchy ceiling roof bridge. Cura 4.3.0

Hello Everyone

Could someone suggest me how to tweak Cura settings to print the ceiling (first layer of the roof) the roof of 3DBency boat.

I've enabled Experimental "Enable Bridge Settings".

You see the marked line prints completely in the air and seems like it doesn't detect the empty space below!

To have a straight lines instead of diagonal I've tried to turn Alternate Skin Rotation but with no success.

I would like to have similar to Prusa Slicer bridge behavior:

Please suggest if there are some options to tune printing the roof ceilings?

    Ah, I just found a benchy file, I didn't know I had it. Looks fairly similar to what you have above.

     

    Have you tried adjust the bridge skin support threshold setting?


    Also, I would set the skin wall line count to 0.

    And I would just happy if I will manage to make the lines perpendicular on this layer
