Posted · Parts of model get greyed out in preview when scaling up the model

Hi forum,

I made a model the other day in blender, that I'm now trying to print. But when I scale up the model (by I think: 1600%), and slice the model, parts of the nose get's greyed out when going into layer view. I use pretty much default CR-10mini settings (only added raft and support). Tried doing different things found in other topics here, but they don't seem to work.

Kind regards,

Nicolas Magnussen

    Hi and welcome!

I guess there is a problem with your model, maybe it is not solid and the hollow nose part has too thin walls? Or the model is not watertight?

Check you model again, maybe use some STL repair services, like netfabb online or the 3D Builder can also repair STL files.

netfabb did the job, thank you very much!
