Part Cooling Fan not turning on since 4.4.1

Hey all, since upgrading to latest cura my parts cooling fan is not turning on at layer 2 anymore (or ever) until I manually turn it on either in octoprint or on the printer itself.  I have it set in cura to run at 100 percent starting on layer two but its no longer working on either of my printers I use cura with (cr10s pro and sovol sv01).  Slicing on two different computers gives same results to either printer.. ideas what may be the problem?

Check in the machine settings dialog that the cooling fan number on the extruder tab is correct. For almost all printers it should be 0.

Its funny you mention that, I was literally just looking at that and wondering.. will test once I am done with these prints... thanks.
