Printer preforming random things

Hi, I am very stumped why my printer will not print. I have an FT-5 R2 printer and I am using Cura as my slicer. I have used a sli3er and repetier host. When I go to print from an SD card my machine homes as it's supposed to then proceeds to the origin of the part. After this, the printer begins to move in apparently random directions after it does this for a few seconds it goes to the x minimum-till it hits the endstop. It will occasionally go to y minimum but usually the x minimum. The start g code is as it should be and I can not figure out why my printer has a mind of its own. I would highly appreciate a response or maybe some guides in the right direction,
Thank You
