Posted · Problem that playback does not color the infill/wall/etc

On most examples I see, showing the playback of the print process, colors show the various parts. E.g. the wall is one color, and the infill is another, etc.  But mine only show yellow.  I have a brim, and infill.  I can see the infill pattern, and brim, but they are yellow like the rest.

I would assume that various colors would be the default. But, I tried to search the help files, and these forums, to see if there might be a setting where I can choose the various colors for the parts of a print, without success.

Any ideas what might be wrong? Thanks for any ideas.

Although the Color Scheme menu was not open,  just getting the word "scheme" helped narrow down my search to find out how to find this menu.

No amount of computer programming will ever replace one human being helping another.

    Thank  you.

I should add, for others down the line, that in Cura 4.6, to get this menu, you have to first be in preview mode. Then, on the upper left,  the view type must be "layer view".  Just to the right of that is the color scheme. To turn on the colors, you have to select the pencil to edit, then choose "line type" from the small pull-down menu.
