critical error - crashed the printer!!!!!!!!!!

Hello I just fount a really bad bug on my Ultimaker 2+

this has actually happened twice, the first time I thought I had moved the spinwheel or done something wrong but not this time....

I am printing with PETG so on warm up I wanted to give a few extra seconds for the filament to heat up and flow better so after selecting the print the build plate heats up then the nozzle heats up and just as it almost reached temperature and the hotend started moving I hit pause,

this caused the steppers to go into a fit, it all happened so fast I cant really say what happened but everthing was in the wrong place and after some panic and trying to abort the hotend moved into position and the build plate raised past its normal position and hit the nozzle HARD,

many horrible sounds later I managed to abort the print. the nozzle had damaged the brand new used twice magnetic build plate which is ruined and god knows what other damage has occurred, it would have smashed the glass I think has the new ziflex not been on there

yes the build plate was adjusted properly

so please can I have a response from the Ultimaker team on this??

have I cause more damage??

please dont tune or pause until the print is underway!!

can ultimaker release a fix for this?

thanks

Dan
