Interior layers and infil using thicker layers and wider nozzle

Got a dual nozzle setup on my printer, 0.4 and 0.8mm and want to improve print speeds while not having to use a 0.8mm nozzle for exterior surfaces.

What I dream of doing is printing the outer one or two shell with a 0.4mm nozzle, at 0.25mm layer height then another interior shell with a 0.8mm nozzle with 0.5mm layer height.

This of course would need to do two of the thin layers for every thick layer, but this is already done for the print infill at higher layer heights so must be doable?

How can I do this and if not is it on the horizon for being doable?
