Posted · End of filament has gone past the material feeder and now it can't be unloaded

Hi there! I would greatly appreciate if anyone could help me solve this issue with our 3D printer.

The filament in one of the extruders ran out whilst printing and so now the end of the filament has gone up past the material feeder. So now whenever I try to unload the material to put a new roll of filament on it doesn't come out. I've tried loading new filament behind it to "push it along" but it doesn't extrude. I've also tried to detach the tube from the material feeder and the print head to try and get it out that way but I can't figure out how the tube detaches. What should I do to get this material out?

Thanks!

Here are good step by step instructions how to remove the Bowden tube:

Additionally you should heat up the nozzle manually via menu to be able to pull out the piece of filament from the head (nozzle)
