Dual Extrusion Setting Affecting Single Extruder Printer

Posted · Dual Extrusion Setting Affecting Single Extruder Printer

Hello. I have a Vivedino Troodon which is based on the Voron. It is a single-extruder Core XY printer. When I start a print from Cura, the printer retracts the filament at the end of the priming stripe essentially negating the priming stripe. I have tracked this down to the "Nozzle Switch Retraction Distance" under the Dual Extrusion menu. However, this value is hidden from me because my printer is defined with one (1) extruder. The machine definition panel only allows me to select one (1) extruder and therefore I cannot enable the feature so I can set it to zero. Is there another way to set this value? I am not adverse to tinkering with config files but I have no idea where to set that.

I am using Cura 4.7 on Linux.
