Unable to slice a simple object correctly

Posted · Unable to slice a simple object correctly

I think I've tried all all of possible setting combinations to get 3 straight lines. Whatever I do, Cura will either make unnecessary moves/travels or simply ignore some parts of the walls. Is seems to be a known issue since at least Cura v3 and still not fixed...

    We are now working on a fundamental new way of slicing things, that should solve this. But the solution is in the ballpark of man years of work. It's really really that difficult to fix.

    Oh I see, good to know. Unfortunately, I have to use another slicing software for now.
