Posted · problem when setting PID parameters with ulticontroller

Hi there,

Since I had quite some temperature oscillations, I ran autotune (M303) and then wanted to edit the stored PID values according to the suggested values. Works fine for P and D, but not for I, because when I turn the knob of the ulticontroller, a minimum value of 1.0 appears. I want to set it to a lower value.

Any ideas how to do this?

Thanks!!!

Albert

I think this should be fixed in the latest firmware... There was also a bug that meant that the other PID values were displayed and processed wrongly anyway. I fixed both of those issues last Spring, but the official firmware build wasn't updated to include them until recently.

An updated firmware was released however with the 13.12 Cura - try updating to that, and see if it works for you.
