I've found it quite funny at both the Maker Faire events I went to last year - Ultimaker and Makerbot had stands quite close together; the Makerbot stand would usually have a couple of guys in corporate logo dress shirts, looking very officious. Might have one printer out, and be printing a vase or something. Not many sample prints, and frankly very few visitors, and pretty much no buzz. Ultimaker stand would have half a dozen printers running, tons of sample prints and people 5 or 6 deep clamoring to squeeze up front and talk to us about how excited they were about 3D printing.
Says a lot about the different ethos of the companies, and the people associated with them, I think.

its not the first time bigger companies have been laying out SUPER OH WOW PRINTS infront of their standard home 3d printers.
But its kinda funny to see it sometimes and ask the people... How did you create this multi coloured print with this single nozzled printer.. COF COF...
Or if you ever want some fun.. just go up to a makerbot sales table at a 3d fair and ask them to print something using dual printing.. HAHAHAHA... never baby !!..wont happen in a million years...
But super fun seeing the faces of them starting to sweat and thinking.. damn where did i put my backup dry shirt ?? LOL
