Cura 4.10.0 crashes on invocation

Posted (edited) · Cura 4.10.0 crashes on invocation

I have been using Slic3r along with pronterface but a recent youtube video was singing the praises of Cura so I thought I would give it a try.
After installation on my W7 system the EXE does not open. It just pops up an error box with a bunch of issues. I have attached a screencap.

I deleted it and was going to forget about it but decided it may be worth pursuing.
I suspect Cura is also Python based and perhaps it is hitting conflicts with parts of Python still present from the Pronterface installation.

 

Just wondering if anyone here may have encountered the same problem and has already found a solution or has suggestions for troubleshooting?
