Posted · Ulticontroller to sitch LED light on and off

I am about to install some LED lights on my Ultimaker and would like to be able to turn them off during long prints.

The easiest solution would be to add a switch.

But if it is possible to write firmware so that I can turn my LED lights on and off with the Ulticontroller that would be great.

edit. I read that a bit too quickly. I see now that you wanted to add additional lights and control those. Maybe you can hook them into the factory installed lights and control them that way?

You can adjust the brightness level in the "Tune" menu during a print. Or you can use Maintenance -> Advanced -> LED Settings to change both behaviour and brightness.
