Posted · Disable Print Head Collision Control for "One at a Time"

Hey everyone 🙂

I have a question about the way in which Cura automatically creates a safety region around any model when in "One at a Time" mode.  I understand the usefulness when printing with the stock printhead however in my specific case the printhead is so significantly modified that I would like to disable this safety feature completely and print two models sequentially while nearly touching each other such that the gap indicated between the red arrows would essentially reduce to zero.

So far I have tried to overcome this issue by reducing the printhead XY dimensions to a very small value, however there seems to be some threshold which limits how small the safety area around a part can be.

Any idea on how I could try to tackle this problem is hugely appreciated :)

Kind Regards,
Kevin
