Printer (S5) available in the digital factory but the printer is still printing

Posted · Printer (S5) available in the digital factory but the printer is still printing

We have several printers in a digital factory.

After the last firmware update to 6.5.3.0 one printer in the factory is giving problems.

After sending via network to the printer the print is finished in one minute and the printer is available in the factory. And there is where it goes wrong. Because the print is not ready and can have a print job of 20 hours. This print will finish. But when someone wants to put a print in the que the factory tries immediately to send this print job to the printer because its available (But its not) 

So putting things in the que on this printer is not working.

All the other S5 printers got the same firmware update and don't have this problem.

        Temperature status. During print preparation, the temperatures of the print cores and build plate will be shown on the display. This gives a better indication of the progress and remaining wait time. Save log files in paused state. It is now possible to save the printer's log files to USB if the currently active print job is paused. Previously, the Dump logs to USB option was only enabled if the printer was in idle state. Confirm print removal via Digital Factory. If the printer is connected to the Digital Factory, it is now possible to confirm the removal of a previous print job via the Digital Factory interface. This is useful in situations where the build plate is clear, but the operator forgot to select Confirm removal on the printer’s display. Visit this page for more information about this feature.
