Posted · Pre-Retraction Setting?

I print a lot with PETG and one of the things I notice pretty often is big blobs of material where the path ends and the printer retracts. What I believe is happening is because the printer is continually extruding until the end of the path the excess pressure in the bowden tube is continuing to extruding while paused/retracting. I've messed with coasting but it usually seems to cause more problems than it solves. Is there a way to begin retracting before the nozzle reaches the end of the path? I haven't found a setting in Cura but maybe someone has a macro or other fix for this?
