Cura printing one model in two parts

Hello folks, I wonder if you can help.

 

I've switched over to Cura from Prusaslicer but Im having issues with this part.

The part is combined but on cura it prints the rectangle piece then the loop per layer.
On prusaslicer, it prints the rectangle plus the loop together.

 I've attached a screenshot to show more details.

Is there a setting I need to change on Cura?

where is this part from? what format is ist? have you tried opening and "repairing" it using 3d-builder (from microsoft store)?

I fixed it by  checking the "Union Overlapping Volumes" option under Mesh Fixes.
