Alternatively, if you are up for designing, you can use FreeCAD and draw what you want in 2D and then use "Extrude" or convert (depending on term used by viewer) and you will have something to experiment with settings until right result. This might sound complex - but its not; I am new to 3D printing too. I had my laptop and Ender 3 Pro filled with sticky notes for 2 weeks while trying to outline steps to print/troubleshoot based on materials. Also had same issue with SIM card - depending on the Firmware installed can be confusing when changes are saved or overwritten based on if card is in or out. at startup and what point you clicked Store Settings.
@john3M please let me know if you can point to any good forums for sharing settings base on materials, speed, and complexity or have some cheat sheets you wouldn't mind sharing.
Sorry about the delayed response. I have to admit i’m am too new to printing to make any suggestions but that aside if i do find anything as per your questions i will let you know. Thanks for the above suggestion regarding the glasses I'm looking into it.
