First layer incorrect when sliced (solved)

The attached STL file does not slice correctly. The first layer is just one line. The second layer shows the correct cross-section. Lowering the model in to the bed doesn't help. The first layer is still one line after slicing. I checked the model in Prusa slicer too, which slices it correctly, but I want to use Cura, not Prusa slicer (for various reasons).

Cura version is 5.2.2 on MacOS ventura. STL file was exported from FreeCAD.

...and that something was I had Initial Layer Horizontal Expansion set to -0.75mm. BTW I used the Profil Analyser (sic) plugin.
