Restrictions on filament usage for students?

Posted · Restrictions on filament usage for students?

I have six S3 printers in my makerspace and would like to move away from 3DprinterOS as our wireless interface for various reasons. I am asking to see if Digital Factory has the ability to limit prints by limiting the amount of filament each individual can use unless otherwise reset. Is that a possibility? Thank you for any advice and or information

Unfortunately I don't think Digital Factory has a feature/setting like this at the time.🤔

It does sound like a reasonable idea however and shared the feedback with the Dev Team!

    Hi @NCSSMFABLAB

this is Lorenzo and I work as UX/UI designer at Ultimaker, would you be available for a short interview to further discuss your needs? We are constantly looking to expand our set of features targeting education and knowing what would make you move from 3d printer OS to Digital Factory would help us a lot.
